History
Brighton Barber Institute (BBI) was established in 2017 by the founders of Boardroom Salon, a leading nationwide brand in Men’s Grooming since 2004.
The men’s grooming industry has exploded onto the market in the last decade, and with it, there is a large market for licensed barbers. While we fulfill the need for training more barbers in today’s market, we recognize that there is a special need for a barber school dedicated to the specific requirements for licensed cosmetologists as they embark on their journey to further their tonsorial education and become highly marketable in their careers.
Brighton Barber Institute’s initial vision to create a school that provides exceptional training for licensed cosmetologists who seek further licensure in the field of barbering has grown to meet the needs of all those who wish to begin their barbering career with the addition of a full Class A Barber program and the instructor program in 2019, along with Student Instructor program and Cosmetology Operator program.
